Since 1 May 2007, the Italian value-added distributor Achab S.r. l. has been distributing the complete Avira product range to specialist Italian dealers. In addition, the Milanese will function in future as a link between the producer and individual resellers or system houses.
The mission of Achab is to identify and market innovative software solutions for the Italian market, in particular for small and medium-sized businesses. Via the agreement with Avira, the distributor extends its range of services with an IT security provider, a company with a product portfolio ranging from virus protection to data back-up and recovery and the only German developer with more than 20 years of international success. Achab S.r.l. offers its resellers comprehensive training courses for IT security solutions and assists them in particular in the areas of support and pre-sales.
"Over more than a decade we’ve worked with various anti-malware software packages, but never found such a perfect combination of great product and great vendor. We are looking forward to actively representing Avira on the Italian market and to establishing a successful partnership with them", explains Andrea Veca, CEO and founder of Achab S.r.l..
